Reverse
Love and Relationships
Matrimony or relationships are a promise
flanked by two joint persons that both would work hard to fulfill the
vows made between the two of them. At one time divorces were rare, but
nowadays we hear reports of divorce around the world daily. The law has
made it easy for couples to divorce on any ground; however, due to the
increase of divorces the law is starting to reconsider their laws. The
laws of God laid open the true directions when the law stated that a
man could not divorce his wife unless she commits adultery. This is
true for women, since they too can divorce when one partner commits an
act of adultery.
Nowadays,
it takes two to make a relationship work, since both parties must work
to make ends meet. Therefore, the selfishness of gain has lead to the
destruction of homes, since children have no direction, while parents
focus on money.
The
reverse in love and relationships has also lead to problems. In some
instances, women work while the men stay at home and take care of the
children. Few blame the changes on the Liberation of Women; however,
this is merely an excuse to enforce laziness. From the beginning of
time, man was the breadwinner. Now, women are breadwinners while men
are moms.
Likewise,
women have taken the role of playing dad. Where does this change lead?
What directions are relationships heading? The relationships nowadays
are heading toward a world of chaos, separation and/or divorce.
Divorce
in its self makes a statement. When two people separate they are
saying, I do not have the elements to make love last, or to love
someone else. Most people think of divorce as love no longer exists,
but unconditional love never dies. Unconditional love works overtime by
utilizing the human mechanism incorporated into their souls from the
beginning of time. The mechanisms, including long-suffering,
self-control, respect, honor, love, trust, et cetera often lack in
relationships that lead to divorce and/or separation.
Of
course, if adulterous behaviors, abuse or neglect is involved in a
relationship it does not mean that one person in the relationship did
not exercise his or her human mechanisms and that love is not in
existence.
The
one partner may have worked hard to make the relationship work;
however, the other partner had obvious selfish gain that it broke down
the trust and other elements that compose love.
Sometimes
self-control is not enough, especially with today's relationships.
Since the reverse of relationship a new direction is essential,
otherwise divorce will continue to upsurge. Yet, we still must wonder
which direction is healthy, since the world is now seeing that the
first set of rules lay out on humankind were more productive than those
set up by humanity.
The
rules today allow relationships to end on most any ground and permits
marriages to begin on the same level. While few states are placing
stipulations on both marriage and divorce, it is not enough to stop or
slow the ongoing increase of divorces and separation.
The
rules originally began as follow. The man is in subjection to Christ,
woman in subjection to husband, children in subjection to parents, and
man love his family as he loves himself.
The
problem came when the rules were broken. At what time man became
abusive, neglecting and not supporting their families and adulterous,
thus new laws were in the making. Unfortunately, men more so than women
in the past committed adultery. The woman was entitled to leave her
mate on these grounds, yet in an abusive relationship, the woman forced
by the laws remains married to the mate.
Abusive
relationships often lead to ungodly pain, suffering, and death on some
occasions, thus asking or demanding someone to remain faithful in this
type of relationship is an act of inhumanity. Therefore, humanity is an
element that needs readdressed, since the laws and society often lack
the human mechanism that was naturally giving to us by God to make love
and relationships work. The reverse of love and relationships is
another problem that increases divorce and promotes separation.
